Direct Frequency Synthesis
PCB - Issue 1. Professionally produced double sided PTH board with legend on
both sides. Sized to fit recommended tin-plate box.
Box - tin-plate self-assembly box providing a well screened enclosure for the
DFS
Part Kits - due to the nature of the DFS design, it is impossible to provide full
kits - since there
will be many different synthesisers built on the one generic PCB. Design specific areas, such
as the filters are dealt with by providing data for known schemas and individual filters on the
DFS data pages. However, other areas of the
circuit do lend themselves to kitting, since they will be the same for (virtually) all
implementations.
Hence kits are available for the circuitry covered on the following pages of the diagram set:
- Sheet 1 - Input Buffer,
- Sheet 2 - Diode Multiplier (90MHz and 105MHz versions - these cover the range from below 90 to
over 125MHz),
- Sheet 4 - Logic Stages, ( with one or two divider chips as required)
- Sheet 8 - Voltage Regulators
I am able to help with some other parts - semiconductors, mixers, coil-formers etc, but cannot
